Loving Being Home........
We are just loving being home with Ethan. The days go just as fast, if not faster, at home as the did in the NICU. It's amazing how a shower might not get taken until 3:30 in afternoon, lunch at 2:30 and supper at 11:30 at night! Oh well, we are enjoying every moment of it. I of course, can't get enough HOT showers and baths, I feel so fortunate every time I step in that I am not in the shower at the room in the NICU- lukewarm and small towels. My mom has been great and came up again on Wednesday night to help us out. Made us eat and sleep and drink water! That was a full time job, let alone holding and loving Ethan. She was great when I was done feeding him at holding him upright for the 30 min. we are supposed until we put him down to help with the reflux. Then it gives me time to go pump. Okay, super sick of pumping these days. Little Ethan needs to keep eating big so I can stop this task and it will save me 15 min. each feeding. Also, just check out what our deep freeze has become.....Used to be full of fresh meet from the Butcher farm, ice cream, and frozen pizza and now.............
GOT MILK is all I can say!! Yes, the WHOLE thing is filled to the top with my milk!! Sorry for the sideways picture, I can't figure out how to flip it.
Brad is also a good holder after feedings. Sometimes he gets a bit sleepy however (even though he has his coffee right by him!) Grandma and Papa Weber gave us the AWESOME CD that has lullaby songs that sings the songs with Ethan's name. I just love it! It does put the adults to sleep too!

Friday, Grandma and Papa Weber came to visit us from Iowa! We have been looking forward to their visit! They just couldn't give Ethan enough hugs, kisses, and love! It was neat to see them enjoy Ethan so much!
Playing with Papa!Snuggling with Grandma Weber! She always had the softest shirts on!

I also put them to work....John hanging things in the nusery and Kathy to cleaning, laundry and dishes! They brought Ethan a new bath tub and we had the best time giving him a bath for them. Here are some videos of the exciting event!

The time just flew by when they were here. We hope to have them visit again soon!!
Daddy has to go to California on Monday for the week. Boy oh boy are we going to miss him! Brad and I have already had some tears about him having to leave Ethan for a week. We will call and text LOTS!! Check out my big boy monkey pants from the Dreilings!

Wendy - I have been following your blog for a while now and just want to say how proud I am of you and that your little man is just precious. I am so happy that you are all back home now, and now the real adventures of mothering will begin. It's the best job ever, and you already seem to be doing awesome. Keep up the good work, Momma! Take care - Brooke (Young) Amys
