Happy Valentine's Day everyone! What a special one for us with the best Valentine's Day gift ever- a beautiful baby boy to enjoy! We love him so much and it is amazing how our hearts have so much room for our new love of our life!
It has been awhile since our last posting. Ethan is gaining weight VERY well, about over an ounce a day! He is such a little stinker- we thought he would hit the 5lb mark on Saturday and he was 1 gram away and then today he gained 80 grams, so he is officially 5lbs 2 ounces! We are so proud of his growth!
We are waiting on an eye exam next week, a hearing test, and for the little guy to coordinate his sucking, swallowing, and breathing. He definitely can suck and is struggling with coordinating his breathing with it too. His feedings from me are up and down, which is emotional for us to wait for him to "take off" but we (me) have to be patient.
Something else this week that is new, are that his eye lashes are really coming in and getting darker in color. Still waiting to see if his now blue eyes are going to turn darker. It's so fun to check him out each day to notice new things about our guy. Here are some pictures to show off his size (of his cheeks!) and alertness.

ADORABLE Wendy! I can't believe how much he has changed in a week! Love it! His cheeks have really started to fill out and YAY to being 5 lbs!! Way to go little buddy!
Oh Brad and Wendy, he is such a precious blessing! He really is starting to fill out. Still has lots of dark hair...love it!
I can't believe how fat his cheeks and fingers are!! Grandma better be able to get up there this weekend- snow stay away!!
He is really filling out! I am so happy to hear about all of the progress that he continues to have - that is wonderful!!!
