We are coming home!!!!
Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I can finally write that sentence! Yes, we are coming home today! As I sit here and type my keyboard is filling up with tears of joy! It has been such an emotional roller coaster these last 5 weeks away from home. I cannot wait to walk into our house and have it just be us, our own privacy and routine! However, I am a bit nervous to leave the care of such great nurses! I know all moms probably feel nervous bring their first child home the first few days (at least that is what I am telling myself!)
I am SO proud of Ethan. The doctors originally told us it would be 6-8 weeks here. Today marks 4 weeks 4 days! What a champ he is! He will have his RSV prevention shot and have another head ultra-sound check before leaving. We will wait until Brad comes back from a meeting and then we are on our way!Will post some "discharge" (I think I heard that word 1,000 times today and have been waiting for it!) pictures and first home pictures soon! Love you all! Thanks for all the prayers!

Yah!!!! I'm so exited for you guys...now you get to go home and really begin your new life as a family. You will do just fine:-) I hear that your dad & Connie are coming up soon...I also heard that Aunt Katie is coming soon too! Tell her hi...can't wait to see more pics at home.
Yay for the Weber's! I just caught up on the past few posts, Ethan sure has been a busy guy passing tests and growing!
So excited for you Wendy! I've been following your blog for a few weeks now and become so emotional with each post you write! You are amazingly strong! What an exciting day today is and will be for years to come! And yes, all moms feel a little nervous to take their baby home, so you're totally normal! I'm so excited for you!

Wow! I am so happy for you guys - Ethan (and you and Brad) are so strong! God is SO good! I felt the same way about bringing Audrey home...really excited but a little nervous too - you're going to love having him home:) Woo-hoo!!!

The Voss family keeps updated with Ethan and his progress from Grandma Lori. We are so thrilled for you and can't wait to meet the little guy.
