One week old!

Ethan is one week old today! He has already changed the lives of many people in a positive way and brought so much joy and happiness into this world! We love him sooo much!He got to see Grandpa Bob for the second time yesterday, he came up while Brad had to go to a meeting. It was So hard for Brad to leave Ethan for the first time. He said he had to leave at 1:00 and he kept stalling until about 1:30! Here is Grandpa Bob holding him last night. What a proud Grandpa!

One trait Ethan has from his mommy is love of sun tanning! I love to catch rays and I guess so does Ethan. He needed to go back under the billi lights today. The doctors say it is normal for them to sometime have to have more photo light therapy. So, here we are Chilling Out again. Today the nurse decided that Ethan was in Cancun hanging out!

Doctor George update from today: They call him a "feeder and a grower" just has to get bigger before going home. In 3 weeks from today he needs to see an eye specialist. All babies born before 31 weeks are required to have one. If all looks good and he continues to do well on a daily basis, they say it looks pretty good that he may be able to finish his care in Mankato under Dr. Smentek. Still taking it one day at a time. Ethan is strong and we are so proud of the little guy!
It's a big ISU game day tonight. We will be showing off our new ISU gear later!

Bobby B looks so proud! Sounds like Ethan is flying through his NICU milestones! Feeder and growers were always my favorite baby in the NICU-I could sit all shift and rock and love them! I am sure that the nurses there are loving on Ethan-he is just so cute!
