Christmas Craziness, Part 1

A series of Christmases, here is Part One of our almost 2 week Christmas adventures!
The Merrill's flew to MN to hang out with us (they must have forgotten the clown car expedition last July :). We were excited to have a couple of extra days with them! They came on Friday and I was sooo looking forward to seeing Drew (well Katie and Ronnie, too). It was SUCH a joy watching the two little ones interact with each other!
The second they came in the door the official Christmas Craziness began!
The Luke-dozer was at it from the beginning. Look out Drew, this guy will trample toys AND other babies!
Supporting each other! Drew wide mouthed talking- he is such a great baby talker!

Saturday we headed down the road- 2 cars this time. No way would the sequel of Clown Car happen with winter gear and gifts! Over the Hills and Through the Woods to grandma's house we go! Night one-
Snuggles with Grandma Lori and cousin Beau. Yes, Beau is 4 months older. Luke is just a monster in size.
Sunday morning Ethan had enough of those little guys and helped Frank clean the pheasants he got from hunting. In Ethan words, "Frank had to get the meat steak out."
Cooking with Grandma Lori.....

Grandma was BUSTED  letting Luke lick the whipped cream!
 "Hey that was good"
"Don't look, mom. I want more!"
We follow grandma's rules and grandma's. Well, no rules then!
Team yellow. Aunt Katie snuggles are the best!
 Sharing the table nicely!

Here's how this one plays out: Luke PUSHING Kelby on the train crashing into Beau. Drew was the commentator babbling about what was happening and Ethan in shock that these 4 are so much trouble!
"Beau thinks he is going to win this battle- he hasn't been around enough to see me doze my way through things." Says Luke.
"Playing is hard work. I'll just take a quick nap in this jumperoo!"
Grandma Lori and her crew! It grew by 4 this year!
This wasn't Christmas yet, just ISU game and pizza night.

The fun has just begun. Stay tuned for Part 2!
