Part 3 and 4- CHRISTMAS

Christmas Eve we headed back to grandma Lori's. My kids are so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents! They go from one fun place to the next!!
Grandma Lori always out does herself at Christmas time-ever since we were kids. She really goes far with stockings stuffed to the brim (love that I get my toothbrush, sock, and undies supply every year), gifts galore, and a special meal! This year was no exception!

Luke feels the same way, Grandma Lori's Christmas is fun!

Playing together again! Wish these 2 lived closer together! Well, maybe too much trouble would follow them!

A family shot!! One that turned out actually!! Merry Christmas!
 Selfie, with Lukey
Grandma with her Weber boys

Then all her boys!
We had to change tradition this year with the little ones and not go to the Midnight service, so we went at 7. That meant we had to do kid gifts before church and supper and more gifts after.
Uncle Baseball, Ronnie supplied all the kids with fitted Rays hats! ANOTHER photo op we didn't catch. All the boys in their hats.

Luke showing off in his new ISU tailgating chair!
It was a great thing, keeping him away from a floor full of paper!

Ethan is totally independent now with the gift opening!

A chef's costume from Drew!

The meal with kids spread all over the room in high chairs!

They calm Merrill's opening their gifts together!
Until......
The DOZER comes to eat your paper!

Drew: Get out of here Lukey- these gifts and paper is MINE!
The BEST photo to describe the CRAZINESS!
Off to the basement to play with gifts. Aunt Katie is the best- she played the game with Ethan while the rest chilled out on the couch!

Part 4- Christmas Day at Great Grandma Butcher's
Grandma had a special meal for us. Felt just like the days on the farm, she had all the "classics" ham, cheesy potatoes, broccoli salad, bun, pies, and angle food cake" It all tasted just like my childhood- that is what I love about the Holidays, not only the new priceless memories, but the old ones that will never be forgotten!
Aunt Renea and Ronda snagging the boys! Such great gals and so thankful to be able to spend time with them!!
Then there is goofy papa Butcher- yes, look at the chuckle in the background as he places the country crock butter tub on Luke's head and Luke didn't bat an eye. Left that on for quite a long time!
 Ethan and Rah Rah time

Look, great grandma on the floor playing with my boys. Talk about special moments. So much of my childhood was playing with grandma and and grandpa Butcher, so fun to see my OWN kids getting to play with her!!
Have I mentioned I LOVE being home for the Holidays!?!?!
