More Football and Fabulous Weather!

So this amazing weather we have had this week reminded me of summer and oh, how I miss it! The daily grind of getting up at 5 to run (with my awesome knuckle lights and great friend Staci) then working and having to wait all day to play with Ethan is very hard! Here is a video I came across while uploading things that made me really miss summer and realize how much Ethan is growing up! When putting this playset together Brad and I laughed how long it will be until he could actually use it- laugh is on us now because he did pretty well on his own!

Back to reality- it's FALL with summer like weather!

More football fun was had this weekend in Ames. Our great friends the Johnke's joined us and the boys had a ball (no pun intended)!

We have known that Ethan has an obsession over music for a long time, now he has discovered a real LIVE band! Look out! We have to go and listen to the band play and scream if we try to leave early! This week we were lucky and the band came to us!

The weather was beautiful but it did chill down for the kids to wear these fun new Cyclone hats we found at the Clay County Fair!

 They had a blast moving all around the bleachers in the second half- being down by so many points allowed this freedom:(

 Then we had to go play outside of the stands. Who would have thought a manhole thing would be so fun for little ones! They were acting like it was a swimming pool. Ethan was on his belly kicking like he was swimming! Weird kids!

 Then they got adventurous- Started knocking on the Jack Trice Club doors. They doormen let us in and gave the kids some popcorn. It was pretty cute!
