Fall, Fall, Fall!

With this amazing fall weather Ethan has had fun being outside from the time we get home until supper then back out until bathtime! The other night he had a blast putting leaves in his dumptruck and dumping them on the other side of the deck. Don't ask why he doesn't have any pants on- I don't even really know why!



Some other random fall activities. Ethan knows how to turn on his stereo and the other morning I was putting clothes away and he was jamming to some tunes. I peeked in and caught him doing some sweet moves!

Daycare sent this photo to me- Colin and Ethan holding hands on a walk. Too cute not to share. 

After daycare Ethan likes to veg out some days and read books in the "big chair." Noticed what he used to get up there. He moves this stool around to many places in the house. Clever thought, however a bit lazy!

 

Using the chair to turn the lights on and off is a favorite.

A couple of weeks ago we were watching football one night and I just said outloud, "Mommy wants and Oreo." Ethan pops off the couch and thought "this ought to be good- what does he think an oreo is?" He bounces off to the kitchen, stands on his tiptoes and opens the pantry and pulls down the bag of oreos!! Runs them over to me! Here is video of the tail end of the ordeal. Still not sure how he knew what an oreo was!

I am just LOVING this age!
