Fall Farm Fun

Last weekend we headed to Dysart to visit the farm and spend time with grandma for her birthday.
Ethan had an amazing time! Here is all the fun things he did...
We got there late Friday night and Ethan had to get a book read by 'papa'.

The next morning Ethan was all ready to go farm. We let him out the front door and off to the shed we went to find 'tra-ters'. He jumped right on the tractor mower and was ready to go!

"How do you turn this thing on?"

As hard as it was to peel him away from the shed, he soon found out how fun riding in a COMBINE was! His first ever combine ride.
It was a little chilly so we still had our cyclone hat on. I wasn't sure how long he would last but.....
but a few rows later we got serious!
"Can I drive now for real now papa?"
Ethan really steering! Well, this combine actually had auto steer and Ethan just looked like he was driving.

Watching the corn get cut!

Ethan thought papa was hungry so he feed him some crackers.
This field was a field that had wind damage from the BAD wind storm they had in July. The rows were hard to follow, but Papa did great! Uncle Brain and daddy found a few ears on the ground to through in as we drove by.
Cousin time! After nap, cousins Belle and Lexa came by to play, Ethan just loves his cousins!

This silly pig moves and oinks and Ethan gets so excited to play with it.
Grandma got this old horsey out and Ethan took no time to climb right up and ride it! He thought it was pretty fun!

Then the girls had fun putting headbands in Ethan's hair!

Ethan thought it was funny to put it in Papa's hair.

Grandma Weber had birthday cake to celebrate Brad's and her birthday! It was yummy!

4 Wheeler Rides with Dad!!
The next morning Ethan was ready to do it all again!!
Waiting by the door to go see the 16 row head combine they got to use on Sunday!
Family Photo with the HUGE combine!
This one is too fancy for Ethan to drive!

Walking back with grandma! The new bins in the background, the old ones were destroyed in the storm.

We went back and practiced trick or treating with grandma.

Then the mouse escaped back to the shed!
To find the 4-wheeler!

This pictures remind of the Beverly Cleary book, "The Mouse and the Motorcycle." With the mouse Ralph!
 Pumpkin poses!
 Garden Tours with Grandma and....
One last ride on the house before we got in the truck!
