Happy Halloween

Taste of Halloween- Caramel Apples

Jaci and Neil are always providing us with yummy treats!
Apple Eating with sticks! Colin brought us some yummy caramel apples and Ethan wanted to eat one of his apples with a stick too!
He made a nice row all the way around it! A good healthy start before all the treats! His favorite treat were "mms" or "M and M's"

We have been practicing wearing our Halloween costume many times so he wouldn't scream and refuse to put it on on the BIG day. He got really good at it and performed like a star on Halloween.
Our daycare provider, Catherine, is a saint and dressed all the kids up and drove them around to see all the parents at work.

All the cuties all dressed up! There is something about kids all dressed up that melts my heart!
My special mouse visitor. My class LOVED it. It is all they talked about all day.
 Out and about!
Catherine put adorable paint on Ethan- never thought of that. I of course didn't have any for the evening so he went without.
Our attempt at a picture with the pumpkins. He was obsessed with sitting on them.

This was his mouse teeth picture. Cracks me up!
We didn't know how many houses we were going to visit so we started out with no expectations, wanting to hit the closest neighbors. The excitement began as soon as we set foot outside! He had the "treat" part down in the phrase trick-or-treat! Most importantly, he had the "thank-you" and "bye guys" down too!
d
As you can see it is now dark- yes 30 min. later he became independent and walked up to houses all by himself!

Then we walked up our driveway. As soon as he noticed we were home, he ran the other way and screamed, NO.
It continued inside then... FaceTiming with Grandma Lori quick and this guy was ready for bed.
Until.....

He found a new costume...his gift from Colin!
The tired mouse finally went to bed, but when he first laid down the door bell was ringing with trick or treaters, he was saying "my turn" in his crib!
What a blast we had with our little mouse!
