Final Football Posts

I cannot believe this will be the last post about ISU Football for a whole year! It seems like I just wrote about the first game! 

First, we had ISU homecoming game on Oct. 22th. It was Brad's birthday game, well kind of!  We went down on Friday night to see all the lawn displays the fraternities and sororities made. AGR was the best by far!

At the hotel, there was this lake with tons of ducks! Ethan was a tad bit obsessed with the ducks. He just couldn't figure out where they went when they flew away.

 Hurry up lady, let's get going! This game Ethan knew how to get to Jack Trice and wanted to get there!

 No nap means a conked out kid before we get 2 blocks in to our drive back to Mankato!

Kansas Game

 

Ethan finds a TWIN! It was too cute, Susan and Ben Albright's son Aidan came to the game (we sit by their parents every game) and the two guys had the SMAE outfit. Susan is a old DZ pal and Ben was a AGR. Great minds think alike, huh!

It was great to see a WIN for our last home game that we can attend! Way to go Clones! Cannot believe another year of ISU home football games in the past.....

Good-Bye Jack Trice Stadium...Hello Hilton Coliseum!

That is exactly what we did. Stayed Saturday night and then hit up the FIRST ISU Men's Basketball game!

WALKING into Hilton for the first time. Grandpa thought that was a big deal! Last year he had to be carried :)

Of course what does he do first?!?! Checks out the band!

Then, he found something new to keep his eye on....CY....he became VERY afraid of him. I don't think he ever took his eye off him. There was a point when CY came right up the aisle...here he is giving Connie a death grip.

He stayed like this for a LONG time. He would peek his head up to see if he was still there! It was funny and sad at the same time!

GO ISU!! Anxious for an exciting season this year!!!
