Well, our March went out like an animal that has to be more exciting than a lamb! Lots of good stuff happened today in the Weber's world! First, I have to share this picture. In the last couple of weeks when feeding Ethan I noticed his, once chicken legs, started filling out and we now have ROLLS!

Brad likes to weigh Ethan on the bathroom scale and the reading the other day was 9 pounds. I didn't believe or trust Brad's method until today when we went to the doctor. They put my little guy on the scale and he BOOM- 9lbs 4 oz! Exactly 2 weeks ago he was 7lb 1 oz meaning he gained more than 2 pounds in 2 weeks! Holy rate of gain! It brought me back to my 4-H days when my steers would place high up on the rate of gain contests (although I really had nothing to do with feeding them- my dad and brothers can take credit for that, and I will take credit for Ethan)!! This weigh gain put Ethan on the growth chart! He is now in the, yes, 6th percentile for 2 months of age. So I guess 94% of kids are bigger than him at this age? But anyways, he still seems BIG to us being that he is more than twice the size he was when he was born. Watching him get all his shots was not so fun, but he did pretty good and it was nothing his pacifier and a little loving from mom and dad couldn't handle.
Other exciting news from the doctor was that we can start poking holes in the bubble we were told to live in. He can go out and about more. She suggested staying away from really big crowds so going the the stores during the week early in the morning would be best. She also said he can be around kids if they are healthy and are not overwhelming him. It felt good to hear that I am no longer on a one hour chain from my house, he can start coming with me!
She also said it would be great to go on walks and enjoy the nice weather so that is what we immediately did when we got home from the doctor (after feeding the little pig first). Here is a video of our exciting first walk moment! It was 78 degrees yesterday- again, more exciting than a lamb!
Also, one more exciting thing happened, we have daycare set for the fall! We had a second interview with a daycare last night and we decided on going with her! It was crazy, called about 18 people and NO ONE had availability for an infant in Aug. I am very excited because she is a parent of a child I had 2 years ago, so I know her from having her daughter, and her daughter was a great kid!!
