Sooo Big!

2 Months......

Dear Ethan,
You still are not supposed to be here yet for another 8 days! How can it be that you are 2 months old already and we have been home with you for a month? You continue to be the boss of everything and are the light of our life! Accomplishments of this month include you taking 3oz in your bottles, gaining more than an ounce a day, sleeping for some(very few) 2 1/2 hour spurts, lifting your head on tummy, noticing your own fingers in your face, sitting in your bouncy chair, moving from your bassinet to your crib, and you are starting to turn your head towards people's voices. You have also gone through some very fussy spurts where you ate every 1 1/2 hours and didn't want to sleep anywhere but in mom and dad's arms. You like listening to your Apple Tree Farm Story CD about Mrs. Boots the farmer, and like to fall asleep to your lullaby CD with your name.
We have had home health nurses Teresa and Marie come and check in with you each week and every week they say you are a healthy boy! As of the 17th you were over 20inches and 7lbs 1oz. You continue to live up to the meaning of you name, strong. Way to go little buddy! We love you so very much!

I like to just hang out and not sleep in my crib some times too.

Grandma Lori was here this weekend to help celebrate Ethan being 2 months old! Last weekend I told how he forgot how to sleep ,so she planned on coming up and helping, but ever since she has been here he has been the best sleeper (as of 9:30pm). He likes to check out Grandma Lori while she rocks him! It is really funny!

He is really lifting his head well when he is high on people's shoulders. He has some great neck strength!
