So the month of November was pretty quiet...we had our first snow...about 4 inches.
Luke lost his first tooth! Grandpa pulled it out in Ames when Brad and the boys went down there for the Baylor game.
Snuggle time with grandpa before headed out in the freezing cold before the football game!
We had parent teacher conferences and they boys rocked their report cards. Luke's goals...keep his hands to himself in line! I guess he likes to play with the neighbor girl in line...we figured it would be a behavior goal and not an academic goal. Ethan's goal was to keep being a strong leader...he is just having the best year with Ms. Cummins. They get along so great- neat to see him be able to show his fun personality in school and not be SOO serious all the time.
This is what Ethan was the most proud of at conferences. Showing the famous Mile Times posted by the PE teacher. Yep, that's Ethan #2 for the whole school! Good job buddy! And this is without any training! I guess he really gutted it out. Had know clue he was that fast.
Me at 36 weeks! Stay in there baby!
I was SHOCKED I was still pregnant at Thanksgiving time! My goal was to get through Parent Teacher conferences and I did that! Hit 37 weeks the day after Thanksgiving and that is a week longer than I made it with Luke and 7 longer than Ethan! So BLESSED for so many things this year. I feel as you get older and older the blessings get bigger and bigger! We of course stayed home for Thanksgiving as I can't travel. We have never been home for Thanksgiving before...so that was new to us! It made me realize we have such a LONG break from school...it was awesome! Dad and Connie came up Thursday around noon and even though they went home yet that night we had a great time. I just had Hy-Vee make everything and all I had to do was warm it all up! It was actually pretty good food and we had lots of leftovers! Would highly recommend for anyone like me who doesn't like to cook!
Luke was my morning helper! He set the table (each person had their own unique way their silverware was placed :) He also helped make homemade whipped cream, his request!
Had to sample it first~
So proud of his creation!
We sooo grateful Connie agreed to help put up Christmas decorations. Luke of course wanted to help with that as well! Check out his outfit. Brad told him to wear a church shirt to look nice and he put on his Nike pants....I can't get that kid to ever wear jeans!
Putting the star on top!
Endless giggles with these guys!
Thanks for driving up for the day and spending Thanksgiving with us!
