Fall: Football, Jefferson Jog, and more!

Tackle Bar football! We all had fun with this new adventure! Ethan LOVED being in pads and helmet. It is a step between flag and full out tackle. He was on the Dolphins team with great coaches and some of his friends- which made it super fun! Have to say he was a STUD. Had about 10 touchdowns for the season and loved playing the running back position on offense and Linebacker on defense. He was known as the speedy one!

His team was undefeated- had one tie game. The only team in his league with no losses! Just a great season all around!

I love school pictures and the "old school" nature of them. Each of theirs turned out pretty good!

Jefferson Jog

The Jefferson Jog is their schools BIG fundraiser for the year. The kids get donations and have TONS of prizes for top fundraisers and classes raising the most money. 

Ethan lining up with his class! He has always been pretty competitive with the jog. And was again this year. He got 5th out of the whole school! That made him set a goal for his PE mile....just wait to see how he did in that a month a so later! 

Luke all ready to go jog 1.5 miles! He made it very clear that morning that he would be JOGGING not running because it was called the Jefferson JOG. 

All done. Brad said he sprinted the beginning, then walked and then sprinted at the end. 

Our sweet neighbor, Isaac made a sign for the boys. He is a 5th grade and won the whole race!

Luke's Flag Football

Luke was all pumped for his first time trying out football! He had a GREAT time until it got COLD. He struggled the last couple of games where it was FREEZING. Didn't really want to play, can't really blame him! I am REALLY bad...didn't have any still photos from his games. Just videos. Mom FAIL!

Grandma Lori made it to a game where they BOTH played on the same Saturday at different times. That didn't happen very often!

Dad requested an ice cream cake for his birthday. So Luke and I made him one. We learned a lot....our next one could be better. haha.

Open House at Jefferson at the same time Luke was the Jamm'n Jags! 

National Ride your bike to work and school day. Ethan's friend Raxton's dad is totally into biking. He takes them each year. This year Luke and Raxton's brother Keelen join in. Brad always follows them with his truck to take their bikes home as the hill coming back home is BRUTAL! 

We had a great fall, even though the weather wasn't a typical nice fall type of weather. Got cold sooner and the warm days were few and far in between!
