5th birthdays are a big deal. It means I know longer have a toddler, preschooler...now a school aged child! I have no littles anymore! Makes be sad, but always look forward to the new adventures each year brings. And we all know Luke will take us on the adventurous path!
At preschool they had a metal ceremony! My little Olympian. Ha
A birthday isn't complete at our house until we go to Dinos and get the birthday sundae with the flaming candle!
Luke chose a Hotwheels theme this year. Honestly, it was a different idea each day and the day we happened to go to Party City he was feeling Hotwheels I guess. He isn't a kid with ONE big thing he is into. He just plays with whatever Ethan likes.
Grandma Lori come up for a few days before his birthday to hang out. Brianna, Ben, Beau, and Becky joined us on Friday night. So fun to have a little girl in the mix!
His cake he picked out at Hy-Vee. Notice how he somehow snuck a drive through the cake with the car. I should have known better!
He got these cool shades for all the kids to wear.
Like always, great presents! Grandma and Papa Weber joined on Saturday for his party. It was great to have them come up!
Big hugs!
Yeti in my Spaghetti was a hit!
Luke and Beau became very creative with playing on the play set.
Cake time!
Luke is an indecisive person. He choose his Hotwheels theme based off a cake he thought was cool at Hy-Vee. We should have had a ninja theme. Luke has bigs plans to be a dentist and American Ninja Warrior. He already has his name...The Tooth Extractor! haha. We had fun after his party heading to the new Ninja course in town.
We then had a fun 2 hours at the Ninja Warrior course! Luke ROCKED it. Most of my shots were video. These are the only 2 sill photos I had.
Beau made it!
Climbing the wall here is a bit more safe that going to the top of his playset at home!
Lukey, we love you so much! Your smile light up a room! You will probably always be the silliest person in a room, give mom lots of gray hairs, but you will always be able to make me SMILE! Love you!
