Ethan's First Communion

It has been a big year for Ethan with church! He is growing up waayyyy too fast! We never would have thought that the date of his First Communion would bring a SNOW storm, but typing this all up a week later we got an even BIGGER one this weekend!
Enough about the depressing weather...more about this handsome guy! We had a retreat on Saturday that Brad, Ethan and I went to together. He made his banner and we did some stations.

 April 8th- the BIG day!

Some pics at the church before hand.

It was cute he walked down with Hannah and old friend from daycare days!

Chatting with them all during the Homily.

And the FIRST COMMUNION!

He did it! Didn't drop it or spill the wine!

They had a surprise song for everyone.

My adorable  boy! God Bless you!

Home with his cake! Due to the snow and ice Grandma Weber and Papa Weber were the only ones able to make it up. We were so excited they made it here and home safely!

Get comfy for gifts!

Rosery from his Godmother, Jenn.

Someone once told me Cardinals are a sign that those loved ones from Heaven are near. Well isn't it sweet that this was the first siting of our Cardinals this year.

As my grandma Butcher always says, "God Loves You Ethan, and so do I!"
