Made same play dough. I love the smell of play dough. Have to admit I hate cleaning up the mess, so the boys don't play with it that much.
Ethan's turn
Brody showing Ethan his belly in the outfield and Ethan showing Brody his glove. They were super focused. Ha ha.
Teaching them to smell it!
We LOVE our neighborhood. We have such a range of ages. Neighbors our age, retired, and in between. Ethan and the boys love talking and visiting them all. Nancy and Jim live across the street and Ethan keeps a close eye on their boat and let's me know when they are taking it out to the lake. Jim asked the boys if they wanted to go for a boat ride one evening. Needless to say, Ethan and Luke were very excited.

It was so excited when we started fishing
T-ball continued through July. Ethan played against his friend Brody in one game. Here's a few shots of them playing

Birthday party! Our neighbor Taylor had her Junie B Jones birthday party and the boys are invited. Her party favor was glasses that the kids wore. Luke fell in love with him and did not want to take them off! He was so cute in them!

July was also the time for private swimming lessons at the long household. Ethan has done lessons here for the last two years and this year I thought I'd sign up Luke. On the first day with in the first 10 minutes Luke had talk to his teacher into letting him go off the diving board without a lifejacket. Seriously the kid has no fear.
Ethan rocked his lessons and was swimming all summer long and water he couldn't touch and because he really learned how to swim this year! This made for lots of pool days!
Waving goodbye to the Deepwater
Buried his feet in the sand and then his quote was "I'm stuck!"

Grandpa Butcher came up one night for Ethan's last and final T-ball game.
Luke is been such a sleeper the summer he was quite tired at Ethan's 9 o'clock T-ball game
Ethan out on the field with his buddy Jack at first base. His coach Sarah is behind him.
Getting certificates and Popsicles to celebrate the last game.
A successful first season of organize sports! Cannot believe he's old enough for it!
Cheezing it up at the farm tractor cut out
Hugs with grandpa! This was right before a very fierce game of water balloons was had out on the deck. Needless to say regular balloons should not be substituted for water balloons! They don't break when you throw them at someone. We all had the giggles so bad! Great memories!
MOVIES!! We go to Thursday morning movies almost every Thursday we are around. Luke needs lots of popcorn! This particular movie was very eventful. First, Luke shouted out "my turds are coming out mom" Yes, we are getting very close to being potty trained! The other BIG event is......stay tuned to the next blog entry to find out what new we got during the movie!
