We had a GREAT Baptism weekend! John and Kathy were here Thursday night and we went to dinner. Then Christina joined the crew Friday and Ronda on Saturday!
We had basketball games in the morning for both boys.
Ethan got some birthday presents!
Brad and Luke went out skiing Saturday (Ethan was at a hockey game with friends) and Christina and John went out to watch, too.
Kelby, Charlie and Melissa came on Saturday night. They went swimming at their hotel. So Luke had basketball, skiing and swimming all in one day! That kid never stops, but when he does he is OUT!
Oh Charlie!
Some Weber guys just hanging out!
Garrett was baptized Sunday morning at St. Joesph the Worker 10:30 service. Christina is his Godmother and Ben is Godfather.
Sweet angle!
Godmother
His best Praise the Lord pose!
Happy boy
Grandpa Butcher, Connie, grandma Lori and Frank drove up on Sunday for the service, too. Afterwards we went home and had egg bake and other brunchy food and of course some cake!
After baptism was over and grandparents went home. Ronda, Christina and our family watched the Superbowl together. The game was boring but the company was great!
A rare moment where Ronda was actually sitting down and not working for me! She and Garrett were great snugglers! I was fortunate to get her help for the whole next week while Brad was out of town! We had some crazy weather yet again making for a tricky ride to the airport for Christina- but that farm girl driving training in her allowed her to get to the airport safely thankfully!
Then we had a surprise with Eric Ogren coming through town and the weather not allowing him to make it back to Iowa. He and the boys went SKIING during the BLIZZARD!
Ronda and Garrett got into a great morning routine- snuggled for a good hour while letting his meds settle while I was able to do things like, take a daily shower, eat breakfast, clean up a bit, etc. I even got to go be a mystery reader for Luke's room while she stayed home. So grateful! She made a trip to the boys school to help in the classrooms too!
So blessed for all the help and support from family! We are so blessed with the best!
