IOWA STATE WON!!! Fun to see a win again!
Speaking of fun, I thought it would be fun to take a family selfie to start off the season, Brad didn't really get into the photo opp!
We stopped for lunch. Luke and the chocolate milk had a battle and the milk won. So we had to strip it down in the car to let the clothes dry out. Seriously, adults get drinks with lids and straws and kids milks come with stupid tabs to peel back and no straws...someone explain this to me.
We told Luke he had to take a nap in the car. He yells later, "mom I am sleeping." Umm... nice try.
The tailgating never disappoints!
We tailgated celebrating grandpa Butcher's 65th birthday! We had cake and all!
And of course some tailgate football!
Playing some football with Dad and the college boys that stopped by. Braydan Else was a big hit!

I think when Luke thinks of Iowa State Football he will always associate it with CORNDOGS! Because he didn't have enough to eat tailgating he needed a Footlong Corndog?!?!
I'm going to eat all the corn off first he said.
Then he announced to EVERYONE around with these exact words. "It's unbelievable, there is actually a GIANT hotdog inside here!" He got lots of chuckles! And then the hotdog became more of a weapon than food and we were done!

Brad got the easy one to sit by....Ethan...they just chatted football the whole game. I chatted about everything but football with my seat partner. Oh well! We won and all had a great time!
Luke and Kelby even got a visit from Cy!
Let's hope every Jack Trice game is a victory!!
