We had Hello Day for Luke the week of conferences and I had to run quick in between my own conferences to pick up this cutie, get him to his Hello Day, back to daycare and not be late for my next conference with students. WHEW, I made it! Luke was BEYOND excited to meet his teacher. It was like a countdown for days with a play by play until he would go.
Could hardly stand it he was so excited.
He actually choose this bench, he thought it would be good for pictures. He was taking it all so seriously.
First Day photos! Just love taking them and seeing how they grow each year...sad though. And to think someday it will be the first day of school and my boys will be off to college and my door will seem so lonely without them and those DAMN chalkboard signs. haha.
I had to include this. So, Luke's excitement from Hello Day to the first day changed...he cried when Brad left him and he said he felt shy. Not really a word I would EVER use to describe Luke. And if you look at his picture closely, I asked what all those dark lines were between his head and body....he said it was all his boogers and tears from crying. haha. He only cried the first day and I am just waiting for the teacher to call about him being too talkative or wild here any day....
