Clay County Fair

The first weekend in September we headed down to the Clay County Fair, yes we skipped the ISU game. Doesn't usually happen but Ethan LOVES showing those pigs! He practiced with grandpa Butcher several times on trips back to Holstein showing Olaf. 

He is all ready!!

So is Luke!!

He had to get in the pen just like big brother!

Ethan gets a stick and so then Luke needs one. However that did not last long. Luke used it as weapon! 

The first round. Good one of the judge, Ethan and grandpa.

We got to sight see the fair while waiting for the next round. 

Petting a mini horse was fun!

Luke was content to just hang out with his hotdog and French fries.

Then the pen of 3. One trophy grandpa had not own at the Clay County Fair. 

And look who won!! Yeah Ethan (and grandpa)!

A great win for Ethan! Grandpa offered the prize money or the trophy. Ethan wanted the trophy!

The second we got home Ethan was off showing off his trophy to the neighbors!!
