The trip we have been talking about for MONTHS (that seemed so far into the future) arrived! After counting down with Aunt Rah Rah since Aug. 1st. the BIG day arrived- D Day, or DISNEY DAY! Since there are over 300 pictures of our trip I will be breaking these posts into each day.
So many precious pictures to share!
What a better way to start than a video of us waking Ethan up sharing the news that it was finally time to go to DISNEY!
Keep the time in mind, it was 4:30 AM!
He got his TSA sticker badge and took a real quick nap on the plane ride. He did awesome!
Plane arrived at noon and onto the Disney Magical Express headed to the Polynesian!!
So, the last Disney trip, Brad was infamous for his "senior pic poses". Didn't take long for dad to teach Ethan! This just cracks me up!

I am pretty sure we were on this monerail less than 3 hrs after landed on the runway! When at Disney with the Butcher's there is no relaxing- you go!
We headed to Magic Kingdom and straight for Ethan's favorite ride- BUZZ LIGHT YEAR! Rah Rah and Ethan went on it first together (because some nice stranger gave us 2 fast passes).
Then the TEA CUPS. Who did he rope into riding those with him....the only 2 who could stomach the spins....

They were seriously the FASTEST spinning cup out there!!
Harry enjoyed them- check out that smile! So did Ethan!!
Then back to BUZZ
So excited!!
"I won dad". I think Ethan's score was maybe 400, but every time he came off that ride he said he won!
Then came the down pouring rain! Somehow Ronda, mom, and Ethan got "stuck" inside Dumbo play area where Ethan played, while the rest faced the elements outside with umbrellas. They chose not to ride Dumbo and faced the consequences- getting wet!
The Barnstormer Goofy roller coaster! Ethan chose Harry to ride with him! Hands up everybody!
Off to see some characters!

After the rain cleared we went on some more stuff and then headed back to the hotel for some dinner.
Ethan with his Big boy fancy lemonade at the bar with Aunt Katie. By the time we ate it was pretty late...
Who doesn't let their kid eat this huge ice cream sundae atop of cotton candy at 10:00 at night?!?! Yep, lots of rules slide on vacation! So, keep in mind Ethan has been up since 4:30 and only slept about 30 min on the plane. This kid was a trooper!!!

I can't wait to take our family to Disney some day! I've been to Disney Land a few times but never Disney World!
