There is an explanation of the "no shirt" The plan is to take a collection of these photos every couple of weeks and make a collage. The first photo in the idea I am copying had her little boy with no shirt on. Ethan insisted that he does just like that boy. So, to make everything go more "smoothly" we gave in.
I won't give huge updates weekly, but will get everyone up to speed about what is going on with me.....
So, since week 16 Dr. Goerish has started me on weekly alpha-hydroxy-progesterone shots. They are pretty much painless, but right in the butt where, I of course, I have lots of extra cushion!
At 18 weeks I had an ultra sound where she wanted to check my cervical length. It was on the way low side of normal, which I immediately went into panic mode. I was told to pretty much take it easy, and let others do things for me. Needless to say, easier said than done. I feel like I am training myself to be lazy, not a genetic trait we have. We are all go-getters! She had the length tested the next 2 weeks as well, which had better results. I felt like I could breath again, really.
At my 20 week appointment she still wants the cervical length checked every other week, along with weekly shots, and bi-weekly appointments. So also thought I was measuring farther along than I really am, but of course, another ultra sound scheduled to determine that! I spent 25 minutes after my appointment just making ALL of these appointments JUST for the month of December! I will do ANYTHING to have a full term baby, so I guess the attitude to have is BRING ON THE APPOINTMENTS!
Here are some ultra sound photos from week 18. Baby measured a little over a half pound.
Face with hands in front, looks like a fighter!

you are doing great wendy! hang in there, and put your feet up as much as possible! Make those boys wait on you.. I am sure they will be happy to do it. I am sure you are nervous and scared, but you can do it. I will be thinking of you and baby Weber!
Wow! Already halfway there! Way to go, Mama! The pictures of Ethan without his shirt are adorable! We'll get to see him grow along with your belly! Will you find out the baby's sex this go-round?
