FIRST TIME SHOWING PIGS

So, I know this was almost a month ago, but I finally got all my the photos and videos downloaded to my computer. Where did September go?
Anyways, Ethan showed pigs with Papa Butcher at the Clay County Fair. I truly don't know who was more excited, Ethan or Grandpa! I had no expectations on how this whole ordeal would go, but Ethan did fantastic! He wasn't scared of those 300 pound pigs at all! Connie bought him some pretty cute (if I say so myself) showing clothes- jeans, shirt, and even some cowboy boots. Once he put that on, I think he thought he was pretty cool! I thought he looked about 5 years old! Although, Bri, Ben, Connie, Brad and I all about peed our pants laughing at him trying to walk in those boots when he first put them on! Here are the shots from the fair!

Ethan waking up his pig. Papa had named him "Ronnie" because he wanted this pig's hair to shine like Ronnie's!
Washing the pigs, we let grandpa do all of that!

Getting on our gear- of course Ethan need his "stick" to make the outfit complete!
 A little "preshow" snack.

Like grandpa, like grandson! Uncle looking on in the background, too.

Bringing the pigs some water. Ethan thought they were thirsty.
Putting on the hair shine stuff- see how it is shiny-just like your hair Ronnie- JK!
 Brushing Ronnie.

Ethan got penned- meant he had a good one.

 Ending up taking 3rd place.
The proud showmen!
On the way home Ethan already started asking when he could show pigs again. "Tomorrow?" No, next YEAR Ethan. Not sure of he understands that!
