After we got home from Kansas City we had 2 days to pack up and head to
Holstein to drop off Ethan and grandma Lori's and head out with grandpa
Bob and Connie to NYC! It was going to be a super short trip, but of
course we squeezed in as much as we could in our short time there.
Brad, Ronda and Dad in front of the Limo Ronda and Harry got for us to drive to our hotel! Only aunt Ronda and Uncle Harry would treat us to such style! After arriving we headed to hit the streets of New York City!
The amazing Nativity at St. Patrick's.
Ronda in her Holstein Cow hat, scarf, mitten combo! I bet she regrets NOT buying this!!
Everyone at the Irish Pub across the street from the hotel. Spent a lot of time here!
Saw great things and then headed to the Rockettes! Very cool event- was even in 3D! So glad we went!
A picture for Ethan....this is what mom was doing and...
Ethan was climbing trees with Uncle Ben!
Rockefeller Plaza, tree not lit up...
Game Day
Ground Zero- what an amazing site! Just heartbreaking!
Freedom tower being built.
Reflection Pools
"Dedicated to Those Who Fell, and to Those Who Carry On"
"May We Never Forget. "
Then off to the game....
Just hoping we are on the right train, fellow Cyclone fans amongst us!
Ronda and I with Cy!
Dad thought this picture was close enough to one with Cy.
Ronda and Connie on the BIG screen during the Spirit Rally!
Coach Paul Rhodes!
Inside the stadium, with a view of the whole field. The game was great that it was cold, but those poor Cyclones couldn't pull off a victory for us! That was really a bummer!
After the game I head back to the hotel quick and happened to see the test run of the ball dropping!! This is the awesome view we had from our room!
We had an interesting trip home, but we did make it back. Had a great time and glad we were able to go!
