Lala la la Elmo's World

So we have an ELMO obsessed son right now. We live in ELMO WORLD around here. Ethan can even sing the end of the Elmo song "That's Elmo's World" and carry a not so good pitch, rather cute, but sometimes after hearing it for the 100th time that day, not so cute! So, for an early birthday present we thought we would surprise Ethan with a trip to Elmo LIVE in Minneapolis!
Our good friends Neil and Jaci also have an Elmo obsessor son, so we made a weekend of it. Went to stay in Minneapolis, did a quick trip to Mall of America for supper the night before and chilled out at the hotel until our show on Sunday.
2 buddies walking to show together!
 Ready Colin?
Ethan says "gone" for Colin, took me forever to figure out what gone meant every morning when he saw Jaci and Colin at daycare. Ethan says "Jaci gone" I say, "No she is right here." Now I know he is trying to say, "Jaci and Colin." Makes total sense now! Anyways...
There was a play zone before hand and the boys thought that was pretty cool, too!
Ethan and daddy on the Blue and Fuzzy screen.

Neil and HIS Elmo shirt- he only sported it for one quick picture.

This place was crazy, parents yelling at their kids to come see this and look here (I'M TOTALLY guilty too!) and then to make it crazier some characters came through. Ethan was shocked- had his dancing arm ready to go!

We ran into some great friends from college! What a small world! Stephanie and Greg Janasko. Stephanie was a DZ with me and she has 2 ADORABLE kids, Julia and Jonathan. Took a quick picture before the show started!

There was an "Elmo World" display and that was Ethan's favorite.
Not shy to go and play with random kids on the piano.

Then everyone cleared out and I had a perfect chance to get Ethan next to Elmo ALL by himself and he looked every direction, BUT at me!
 to his right
 to his left
 back to his right

Once we got into the show this was Ethan's expression:
EYES WIDE OPEN- didn't miss a thing!
Ethan and Colin ready for it to start!
The stage and then.......
Basically this dancing and saying "Elmo" over and over again for 90 minutes!
It was so worth it see those little guys faces light up!
