Happy Birthday Ethan! What a year it has been! You continue to amaze us ALL the time. This was a year filled of learning to walk, talk, run, say no, ride, draw, jump, sing, say no, dance, pray, imitate, name people, say no, carry on conversations, and LOVE! You bring us more joy than you can imagine! Tonight you had both mom and dad playing in your plastic swimming in your "ball bit" (ball pit), I never would have imagined that as a enjoyable Tuesday night activity 3 years ago! Right now you LOVE to DANCE, SING (you even sing along to Twinkle, Twinkle, ABC's, BINGO, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Iowa State songs, and say parts to your nightly prayer) you ask "What that", say "no" to almost every question we ask even though you really mean yes, and are an excellent sleeper still- 11-12 hours at night and 2-3 hr naps!
So excited to see what this next year will bring- hopefully potty training:)
On Friday the 20th, your birthday, Great Grandma Butcher made the trip with bumpa and Connie. We had supper and played hard! Then on Saturday we had TONS of guest to help you celebrate!
Here are the pictures and videos from the Barnyard Birthday Bash l!

MANY other gifts were opened as well!
Play time afterwards.....
Shooting Hoops
Uncle Ben trying out the guitar.
One gift Grandma Lori and Frank got Ethan was this nerf gun- we had many laughs with it! Conclusion was that Ethan would grow into it, meanwhile it was entertainment for the guys!
We were SO thankful that so many people could join us! Aunt Katie, Bri, and Melissa, ALL the grandparents, Uncle Ben and Andrew, friends Neil, Jaci, and Colin, Staci, Patrick and Sarah and ESPECIALLY Great Grandma Butcher who made her first trip to Minnesota! We know all the other relatives were with us in thought as they texted and called throughout the day! We are TRULY blessed to have such wonderful family who are great role models for Ethan!
We'll end this post with this silly favorite game of Ethan's called- chase me on these bikes that are too small everyone but me game. Aunt Katie called it the Birthday Train.
