Engagement Excitement!!!

Wow, how do we express how excited we are for Katie and Ronnie!! Katie has shown extreme patience in picking out "Mr. Right" and it has paid off! She is now engaged to an amazing guy, Ronnie, known now as Uncle Baseball! The whole family couldn't be more excited! When she asked if she thinks it would be all right to have a Florida wedding, I told her I expected it! Ha, we shall let them do the wedding planning, not a sister who was bombarded with another foot of snow today.
Katie called on Friday and I had to listen to all the details so I let Barney do some teaching with Ethan in the living room while I talked to Katie in the kitchen. I guess I forgot that I set Ethan down with his Valentine's bag from daycare and this is what I witnessed when I peeked back in the living room......

 He didn't like his birthday cake a month ago, but things must have changed in the last month- bring on the frosted sugar cookies ! 

Ethan and I spend our Saturday talking about how excited we were for Katie and Ronnie. We got a few moments on tape and decided to send the happy couple a message from Ethan. Here it is:

We can't wait for more details and plans to be made! Ethan I and I had flights to Florida already book for the last week in March (yes, I was going to be brave and do a solo trip with him while Brad got some work done) and now I am excited because mom and Aunt Ronda are going to make it down too. It will relive our adventure of wedding dress shopping that we had 6 years ago when I went to Tampa to dress shop! So fun!! Can't wait!
