Grandpa Daycare

Well, here is what has been happening with the Weber's since our last post. Ethan flu, mom and dad flu (same time), Ethan bad cold, mom flu, dad bad cold. Anyways, Grandpa Bob and Connie helped out 2 weeks ago and watched Ethan while daycare was closed due to a Whooping Cough scare. Then they took Ethan to Holstein for the night and we met them at the ISU basketball game. Ethan got to see great-grandma Butcher while in Holstein too. (I heard he LOVED her cookies!)
On Sunday grandma Lori and Frank stopped to hang out on their way home from Minneapolis. Ethan played hard and was lucky that he got to see them. Ethan got his Holstein crew fix that weekend!
Last Tuesday we got bad news that great- grandma fell during the night and broke her leg. We can't wait to go visit her and eat cookies with her again! She is the strongest, most active lady I know! We love her SO much and are praying for a quick and full recovery. She holds SUCH a special place in my heart and I just want to go and give her the biggest hug!! We all need to get better so we can make a trip to see her!

In between hospital visits to great grandma, grandpa Bob came back to Mankato to take care of Ethan when he had his bad cold and I had the flu. He was flying solo this time. His outfit that was chosen by grandpa explains how much fun Ethan had on his "sick" day!

"Grandpa what are you doing?"

 "He is texting Aunt Katie without me?"

"I got what I wanted, the phone."

 "I know how to do this, grandpa."

 "Message sent- can I show off my great clapping now?"

 "See I am SOOO BIG"

"Dad, I am not sick anymore, can I have your pizza?"

So, the Weber's are hopeful for an eventless week this week! Our goal is to make it to daycare and work everyday this week!
