Busy Weekends

Wow, the last two weekends have been eventful and fun! 2 weeks ago we went down to Ames to go to the ISU basketball game. We went early to do some swimming at the Gateway with grandpa Bob and Connie. Ethan LOVED, LOVED the water! Whoop, whoop, that means we can be pool rats together this summer! Going to sign up for swimming lessons as soon as the summer schedule is out. Last Friday I took Ethan to my school's Sneaker Hop. It was the first time really bringing him to a school function where all my current AND past students would be present. Needless to say, I didn't see much of him during this event. He was passed around to teachers, parents, and former students. Our daycare provider, Catherine, was the parent who was in charge so she had fun relaxing and hanging out with him too!

 I got to have him when he was tired and ready to go home. He had a blast dancing and jumping around to the music.

On Saturday morning we headed back to Ames for another basketball game, hoping for a better outcome to a close game, even though the ending was bad, it was a good game where Ethan had LOTS of fun!

Ethan is going to be a true Cyclone Fan and hopefully when he is old enough to really "understand" the games, those Cyclones will have their act together! Oh well, we just enjoy the time with family and thankful we are able to travel down and spend time with them. Winning the game is just a bonus.
