Long week... ending in great times!!

What a week the Weber's had! We stayed home last weekend to get the little man better and early in the week he was still battling the stuffy nose and cough due to the drainage. Brad wasn't any better and I started in with a bad sore throat. On Wednesday I took him to the doctor and found out he had his first official cold and ear infection. Looking on the positive, we have prevented illness for 8 months!
The hardest part was that Ethan was not sleeping like we are used to. This guy has spoiled us since May sleeping through the night. He goes to bed around 8 and doesn't wake up until I wake him in the morning. Well, not when you are sick! He was on a every 3 hour schedule making it hard for us to recover from our own sickness when we couldn't getting any sleep! It sure did bring back memories of when he was much younger waking up to eat every 3 hours. Needless to say, the rocker and I got reacquainted this week!
Then Wednesday night I did something to my back and couldn't even hold my sick man. Off to the chiropractor Thursday after school, where Ethan cried the entire time!! Always has to be one more thing with me!
Despite his cold he could still mangage to do a number on these Baby Mum Mum crackers. Not as interested in milk but did eat his solids well during his cold.
Baby Mum Mums meet Ethan......I think he inhales these in record time!

So, I set his cereal on his tray to turn around to get a bib and found the bowl on his lap with all the cereal all over him. He had too much fun playing with the sloppy stuff! Lesson learned for mom.

We headed for Ames Saturday afternoon for the BEST ISU football game ever!! Go CYCLONES! They beat Texas Tech 52-38!! It was serisouly the best game I have watched at Jack Trice in on heck of a long time! Ethan LOVED it too! Was all bundled up and loving all the attention from the other spectators around us. He took a little nap with Frank at the end of the half and through half time, then popped back up WIDE awake to watch the 2nd half!
TOUCHDOWN ISU!!! We saw LOTS of them this game!
Loved being cuddled by grandma Lori at the game!
My little monkey before the game.

This water bottle was a big interest/toy for awhile during the game.
After the game we hung out at the hotel with grandpa Bob and Connie. He was still excited about the Cyclone victory and was up till midnight! He did sleep VERY good for the first time in awhile, so that was great! We had a great brunch this morning and headed back home for us to do their last big run for their training- 12 miles (not fun after a fun weekend!) We made it though, so 20 days till the big race. Can't wait for Aunt Ronda, Uncle Harry, Aunt Renea, Liz and kids, and maybe even grandma Butcher to come up to Mankato!!?! Yes, grandma, heard you might be coming to cheer on us, Renea, and Ronda!
