4 months...oops forgot to post!

Wow! As I was going through pictures on my computer I realized I forgot to post 4 month photos! Keeping up with photos is like a full time job! I'll take any suggestions people have for not letting it become overwhelming! Anyways here are the photos and the happenings of Ethan this past weekend! I seriously can't believe we have fun things to blog about EVERY SINGLE weekend lately and it gets even busier here on out!

Holding the sign up on his own!

Ethan is really good at holding up his head while on his arms. It is amazing how he is catching up to what 4 month olds do, without his corrected age.

Dear Ethan,
I think I start everyone of these with, "WOW, I can't believe you are this old!" I am going to say it again though! Where does the time go?!?!  Things you are doing now:
* smiling lots*SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT 8-10hours! * reaching for toys *following things with your eyes * sucking your thumb at night and in the morning (which is just too darn cute!) * holding your head very well * cooing a lot more *pushing off with your legs * can sometimes roll from your belly to your back when you are high up on your hands
You still have to learn to laugh, it was one of the things we couldn't say you can do on your 4 month check-up list. You better learn because we all now with your crazy parents there are going to be times when you are going to have to laugh at the mistakes we make!!
We are SO proud of your progress you little preemie! You weighed 14pounds 6 oz, going from the 6th percentile to the 41st!! The doctor said you aren't following the curve, but doing vertical leaps!! You were 23 3/4 inches which is at the 12th percentile in length (you have some short chunky legs kiddo!) Now, your head is a bit on the small size, but you mom has a tiny head too. 6th percentile here.  I really don't care about the percentile rankings; I just care that you are doing so well!
You bring us love each day, more than words can say! We hope and dream that you can know love too!  I wish I could capture all the tears of joy I shed for you, Ethan.  We could water all of mom's plants with them!
Love you forever and ever!
Mom and Dad

Memorial weekend grandma Lori and Frank came up to babysit while we went to a wedding. They had such a blast reading to you, playing peek-a-boo and watching you in your NEW jump-a-roo! I love watching people get smiles on their faces because of you, Ethan!
holy cow- this thing lights up!
Ethan's short legs weren't quit long enough, but with a pillow underneath he can do some jumping!

Grandma Lori took a break from working while visiting. Frank took on the jobs this time, putting in a new mailbox and cooking for us! Thanks for coming up guys!

On Monday we meet our good friends Brooke and Richard and their son Hayden at the MN Zoo! Hayden is 2 months older than Ethan and will someday be Rooks at the AGR house together! Ethan liked the aquarium stuff, but pretty much slept through the rest of the zoo. I figured that was the agenda he would have, but it was great to get out and about anyways. I won't go into detail, but we had a minor delay before entering the zoo do to some powerful blowouts on the diaper end of things! ha
Here is Ethan, Hayden, Brooke and I after the day of events. Ethan was spent! Hayden is just too cute! We hope to get together with them MORE often!!

He is getting so big! He is just adorable, I had a nice time talking about baby Ethan with Grandma Betty, your dad, and your mom while I was back in Holstein last night for my Grandma's visitation. They all just adore him :)
