A visit to the farm.....

I am a little late gettting these photos posted, but the w key on my computer is broke (which is totally annoying being my name has 2 w's for my log in!) Anyways, Brad let me on his computer finally tonight, after much begging. So, last weekend when we were in Holstein Ethan got his first taste of farm life in the eyes of the Butcher Family. We love reading the book Farmyard Tales from Apple Tree Farms and hearing all the stories about Curly the pig. Long story short, Curly is a pig who was the runt of the litter and ate all the other animal's food and grew to be big, kind of like Ethan- ha ha. Here is Ethan looking for Curly the pig in the barn at Uncle Ben's.
I can't see Curly!
Grandpa Bob, get me closer!

Oooo, I like pigs! Nice to meet you curly!

Then we drove down the road to Uncle Andrew's farm and saw Uncle Ben's cavs (confusing huh!) I'm checking out those baby cavs on this nice day!

All these things do is eat grass and moo??

Then we went to grandpa Bob's to talk a bit about things.
I had fun!
To town we went to great grandma Butcher's new house. She picked Ethan up faster than a blink of an eye!
Then we went to the nursing home to meet great grandpa Butcher. It is very sad for me to visit him there, but Ethan made it easier for me. Instead of tears of sadness I had tears of joy! Another amazing act of baby Ethan! My grandparents were such a huge part of my life and I feel so fortunate that they are able to meet the next generation! We got some 4 generation pictures. Ethan did great!

It was amazing that grandpa got to hold Ethan. He even talked about Ethan's tiny hands!
"I've heard such great things about you, nice to meet you great grandpa!"

Grandpa had some great eye contact with Ethan, which was neat to see, and it was hard saying goodbye like always! Great grandma has been so good about printing off pictures of Ethan and bringing them to grandpa,  so it was so nice to bring him there in person! We love you, great grandpa!
