So, I already know I have a TON to learn when becoming a new mom. However, I thought I was doing pretty good at being a doggie mom, until a recent vet visit. Keep in mind readers, I did not have a "house dog" when I was growing up. I just had farm dogs that didn't last more than a couple years because they would get run over by tractors and farm stuff. Anyways, I was not aware you are to clean out dog's ears with q-tips at LEAST once a week, according to my new vet nazi. So, Zoe is 5 and only has her ears cleaned when she gets her hair cut. Needless to say, poor Zoe has a nasty ear infection. She spends most of her days on her big chair and now even more! I feel so bad for her, and I can't imagine how it will feel being a "real mom" when my kid is sick. I have spoiled her the last couple of days, even let her finish the rest of my Pumpkin Pie Blizzard tonight- now that is a sacrifice!
