This post will never do justice to how amazing this trip was for us! Here are just a few of our highlights!
Mommy and the boys all set together...where's dad...of course he is sleeping in a seat all alone! But that one on my lap rocked all of our airplane rides. Slept on most of them...which is shocking as he doesn't like to sleep! Luke sill struggles with the seat in front of him....someone he will grow out of moving the tray up a million times and stretching his legs.
We spent one night in Ft. Lauderdale before flying out the next morning on Bahamas Air! Was fun to ride on the same flight as Brian, Deb, and the girls!
We arrived Tuesday around 1pm to PARADISE!
Day one and already got the best family photo of the resort with all kids looking! Thanks, random dude for taking this!
This dude was READY for it all!
Garrett LOVED the water- had to be careful of his ears since he had his tube surgery the week before.
Pregame pool party!
The River Rapids were a HUGE hit as well as ALL the slides!! Such brave boys! Mom even went on a few big ones. Dad and the boys did them all including this one...
BIRTHDAY BOY on Thanksgiving Day!
Thanksgiving Day buffett in our ISU gear...Garrett's b-day party! It was the most amzing buffet ever! 85 bucks per person...but BEAUTIFUL and YUMMY!
Game photos! 3 Games....
We went to 3 games and enjoyed being so up close and personal with the court! Such a small arena!
They threw out lots of free stuff- Ethan had fun collecting it all!
Night times...
We had dinners at the marina. These CRAZY beautiful yachts were parked there- insane amounts of money down there!
Morning run with Garrett pic- I think I covered EVERY path in the resort! He refused to sleep in the crib and was getting his top molars so the nights was brutal, but we would go for early morning runs together and take a morning nap and I would go get my starbucks before the lines got long!
Also saw all the marine animal feedings. Here is a giant turtle outside our tower.
Pool Baby
Fun shots!
Ethan and George Conditt
Beach boy!
One night the power went out in the whole resort! I was in the shower Luke and Garrett were playing in the crib together and it went BLACK!!! 9th floor made for an interesting climb up and down a few times!! We survived! It made me think how scary it would be if a storm really went threw though! Yikes!
We survived the dark....
Christina took Luke out to do some snorkeling.
Jacob and Luke loved playing the sand together! Ethan liked playing football on the beach!
Christina set up a professional to come and take pics for the family. Here is our sweet family of 5!
Brad and his mommy!
Maybe one day my boys will go on a trip with me and I can have a photo like this!
Swimming with the Dolphins! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! I had no clue if the boys would freak out or if they were too young, but they did so great! It was so fun to have Belle, Lexi, and Christina in our group as well!
The whole crew!
Dad
The camera man must have had fun with Brad...he has sooo many pics! haha
This one is my favorite! hahahahaha
Luke
The brave boy loved it!
Luke LOVED learning how to use the snorkel and goggles. He was a great listener to Aunt Christina (thank goodness we had her in our group!)
Mom
Ethan...
Ethan had a great time, but did not get the hang of the snorkel! He didn't have any interest to use his mask and snorkel the rest of the trip! ha. Opposite of Luke!
We did it!
Fancy diner...Luke and Jacob became good buddies!!
THE REASON for the trip....these TWO! Happy 70th Birthdays John and Kathy!
Last couple of squeezes
The coral pool was our favorite pool. We did one last swim there on that day. We didn't want it to all end!
Our travels home can be summed up in one word- DELAYS! The kids did great being so patient in the airports waiting. The waiter in Toronto LOVE smiley Garrett he took him for a tour of the kitchen staff. haha. Nice distraction for Garrett.
Was an epic trip as Ethan called it! So blessed to be able to take our kids on trips!
