We drove back to Katie's in a rainstorm, but it was gone in time for us to jump right in within the first hour there.
Let the fun times roll!
We decided to press our luck and try a beach day this year. Ethan and Reese all ready to roll!
I love Clearwater Beach..such good sand!
It was perfect, we had a little tide pool (not sure if that is the official name) right in front of us so the kids could play in the water without the waves crashing into them.
Grandma and kids- she made lots of trips to the bathroom with them- she got her exercise in!
Walks on the beach...so relaxing.
This GIANT slide was right next to our hotel. Of course Luke wouldn't stop talking about so finally I gave in and let them go over there. All the boys had a great time on it!
The Hilton had this awesome restaurant right out in the sand. The kids could play on the pirate ship and other beach games while waiting for their food.
Movie time...Reese wanted to be the like big kids and lay in the bed and watch, too!
Back to Aunt Katie's the next morning as it was pouring at the beach. We really lucked out on a great beach day!
Bring on the floaties! Batman vs Shark
They spent a long time trying to get all 3 on there long enough for us to snap a picture!!
That kept them busy while grandma made this adorable Two-ty Fruity Cake for miss Reesey!
Katie had such a cute them with the Two-ty Fruity..lots of bright fun colors and fruits!!
Reese had fun opening her presents, but Luke and Drew kept wanting to do it for her.
I do have to say...I put this Minnie Mouse Bike together myself...and she loved it, rocked it, owned it! Was riding around the house and then outside all by herself by the end of the day!
She got all shy when singing "Happy Birthday"
Adorable! Love her so much!
Back to the bike!!
Our last day we went to their TAC to swim. The waterslide was broken so we had some bummed out boys. But we made the best of it.
Played some mini golf.
Always great to go and visit, but always so hard to leave. Especially when there aren't tickets booked for the next trip where they will see each other again. Christmas seems so far away!
Happy Birthday Reese, Love you! Thanks for the fun Merrill's!
