Grandma Butcher's 90th!

Turning 90 is a BIG deal and Grandma Butcher had a weekend of celebration going on! We couldn't wait to get there and join in the fun that had already started.

 Baby Becky waiting for us!

Friday night we hung at grandma Lori's and of course we had some yummy s'mores on the patio!
who is the kid in his PJ's with no shirt, eating a smore- oh, that is just silly Ethan!

Luke's maybe 3rd one?!?!

Saturday morning the birthday party planners planned a Walk for grandma. Since she walks everyday (and I remember her walking everyday since I can remember- even laps in the basement during the winter) we had a "Our Grandma is Faster Than Yours" Shirt on the front and
2 mile Betty Walk- Walking in Grandma's Footprints on the back!
And of course in Cyclone colors!

Charlie was all ready for the walk!

All lined up waiting to surprise her as she came down the street!
Off to go get her at the top of the hill!
 She was surprised!

Boys goofing around waiting to walk.
We got her into a shirt and off we went!

She loved it!! The giggles and smiles were priceless- just like her~

Becky being all calm with all the action~
 Playing at the park!
 The ladies...

Now this was my favorite memory of the afternoon at the park. The kids were all going down this BIG slide. Grandma whispers over to me- I could do that, too. I said, "sure you could" and the next thing I knew off to the top she went!
All the way up!
 And back down again!

11 great grandkids all lined up!
I LOVE this photo of my family with her!
We had pizza, ice cream bars, and Nick seranaded grandma with a song written just for her!

Off to grandpa Butcher's for supper. It was the Kentucky Derby, so some Woodford and Horse Races. And a great grandma story. So we were all standing around picking our horses and one came up called Always Dreaming- grandma says- I pick that one- I said- that is who I want too. Well, sure enough it wins! It was pretty awesome! What makes it more special, is that grandpa used to say that he was "always dreaming" So, he was with there with us, too!

Outside fun!
Reesey reliving her baby days.
We played baseball, rode bikes, grilled, and hung outside on the beautiful evening!

Sunday morning we all went to church at her church and had a reception at the Boulder's hotel afterwards. Liz put together a great slideshow and Renea and Ronda did some performances themselves. All the grandkids shared what they love most about grandma as well. Lots of laughs and tears were had!

Blowing out the Birthday Candles!!
Grandma is truly the most amazing women ever! She is my role model and means so much to so many people She truly touches everyone's heart that she meets. We love you so much Grandma Butcher!! Happy 90th!
