Before kids I always thought kids birthdays were all excitement for everyone...well, I actually struggle on my kids' birthdays and I get so sad that are growing up too fast! Of course, I am so grateful for healthy kids and to be able to celebrate these wonderful kids and all their accomplishments throughout the year, but to say it's all happy is not true. I cried myself to sleep the night before Ethan's birthday this year thinking about how scary his entry into the world was and much he so well despite his early arrival! Anyways, let's focus on the happy and check out what this dude did for his birthday!
Ethan through the years! We kicked off the birthday day with a birthday donut. Luke picked it out for him the night before at the grocery store.
Ethan's birthday was on Friday so he got to celebrate with his class at school and when he got home Grandma Lori, Kelby, and Beau were here ready for his party! This was the first year we did a friend and family party together.
Cousin presents and grandparents presents before the party.
Pretty special that on his birthday was the Inaugratal Parade in which his very own Papa Weber was driving a tractor to help support farmers! Pretty big honor!
Then on to BOUNCE TOWN!! We invited school friends, neighborhood friends, and family. Everyone we invited (minus some family) could make it- WOWZERS we had LOTS of people!! It was a private party which helped, but still lots of boys with excitement and a building full of bouncing!!
Since it was private, adults could bounce, too. I went up with Luke.
Like making the climb.
Birthday boy, his brother and his cousins.
Opening presents!
Luke crying because he wanted 2 cupcakes.
More gifts- they were all so excited to have Ethan to open their present.
Neighborhood kiddos!
Luke and Kelby all tuckered out having a sleep over in Luke's bed.
One last photo on his birthday! He loved his StarWars cupcakes!
We are so incredibly proud of this kid and love him more than he will ever understand!
Happy Birthday, buddy!
