ISU Football Season

Well, we were all pumped up late August for the NEW Football Season...game one was not how we wanted it to all start off. We have fun going whether we win or loose...winning is of course more fun. We can say we were at ALL the games this that we WON! Only one the boys missed was the Thursday night Oklahoma game.

I decided I would put all the games in one post...here is a recap of our tailgating from 2016...
Cyclone Kid Experience. Putting on real jerseys, shoes, and helmets!

My football player!

Playing some bean bags with the helper

So, Luke was sooo excited to see Cy for the first time this season. As Cy was turning around, he didn't see Luke and knocked him down!! He felt bad and Luke forgave him.

Happy Boys with Cy.

The first of MANY Corn Dogs for this guy!

Hanging out with daddy!

First game was so much fun tailgating, but the outcome not so fun! Yikes says, Luke.

Game 2: More tailgating!

 Kate and Ethan
 Grandma, Beau and Luke
The weird kid with the white towel on his head, yep, that is Luke with Brad.

We had the joys of staying in Grandpa and Connie's apartment before games or after games. It was sooo nice not doing hotels, early mornings, or late nights. We liked going to the resturaunts close by, Wallaby's and a Mexican one. The boys like the Cy's around Ames.

 Cutie!

Lois even joined in on the tailgating fun with us one week!

Kelby, Luke, and Ethan have fun playing cowboy golf.

Brad with a too small sweatshirt- Fat Guy in a Little Coat.

This was the best pic we could get of these boys and grandma and Lois!

 My Cyclone buddy!

We were super lucky the coldest game of the year we had some SWEET indoor/outdoor tickets at the Jacobson Building. The boys loved being outside on the deck so we had it mostly to our selves because it was so cold. Lots of free food too!

Ethan braved the cold with Beau early in the game.
Then came and joined us in the other seats.
Our view from the seats. We scored 66 points vs. Texas Tech and so that goal post had LOTS OF ACTION!

Cy found Luke!!

Luke stealing chocolate curls again... he had about 3 pieces of chocolate pie!

Fun times!!

Luke ready to catch and extra point. Dad did catch one- it was awesome!
more food!
Inside- Luke thought the Cyclone trophy case was a slide!

Last game. Can you believe we didn't need coats the first half on a late November game!?!?! Second half we did, though...and gloves and hats!
That's a wrap! We won 3 games all year--- hope for more wins next year! As always, the games are great memory makers for us all! Love that we have the opportunity to go to them! Go Cyclones!
