Well, as hard as it was, we spent Thanksgiving away from the boys. Not our original plan. We bought a package at dads 4-H Golf Tourney to go to Destin, FL to watch ISU basketball in a tourney. We thought we could add on and bring the boys. But didn't realize how spendy it was to fly into Destin! Ouch! So they got to spend the 4 days we were away with grandma Lori!! She even drove up here and stayed with them. They had a blast. 2 movies, shopping, and much other stuff! We had our first snow while gone so that got to enjoy that with her too! We flew out super early Thanksgiving morning and returned Sunday.

Meanwhile, we were enjoying the Sun, warmth, and beautiful beaches! Just missing our family! It was a good get away for just Brad and I.

Friday was game day! Ran into Niang before leaving! We had FRONT ROW seats!! Guess we had lots of TV time. I made friends with the camera man and made a deal that he couldn't film me shoving popcorn and m&ms in my mouth! Haha
Beach day all day!! Went and walked for breakfast and watched IsU football game at a fun beach bar. At the pool we chatted to Morris's family and at the game I got a photo with his head...haha

Good bye white sand beach. Hard to leave the weather knowing we were going back to some other white stuff!
So grateful for our time together and the opportunity to get away with grandma helping out!
