Speaking of decor- we were a bit late picking our tree since we were in Florida right after Thanksgiving and that led to a downward spiral of our yearly tree. We had to get a type we don't normally get and that was after shopping at 3 places. We bring it home and the pictures cannot describe the frustration we had. No captions as the words being said were not appropriate to post :)

It was standing straight up, so I started the lights and the thing feel on me.

Brad quote here, "Is this better?" UMMM- NO!

WORST TREE EVER! It's tiny and it is standing up only because brad has it strapped in with a bungee cord! I guess 1 bad tree in 10 years isn't so bad. Oh and it is already dead with needles dropping all of the presents and balls falling off like crazy! #sodone
Ethan I went to The Little Mermaid at the High School and it was fabulous. One of our babysitters was in it. We went some of my co-workers and their kids.

Annisten and Severon and Ethan.

Sarah after the show!
Then here is my BOOK WORM!!!! He got his 300 step necklace at the end of November and actually just got is 400 one last week! Each step is 15 min. So that is a lot of minutes! He loves to read!

Then there is this one.....still doesn't say his ABC's without goofying off in the middle. He radomly knows some letter sounds??!?! Most recently a video saying "w says w...w..w.. What's happening dude?" SERIOUSLY! This kid is going to be the kid who makes the teacher drink every night! haha!
With this warmer Decemeber weather we have been embracing it and doing OUTDOOR events! Bells on Belgrade was a Holiday event with Santa, Sleigh Rides with Cart Horses, games, and a short (like 10 min tops) Lighted parade- nothing even in the slightest ballpark as Disney light parade like maybe YMCA age 3 tball standards compared- haha. Anyways, we enjoyed the event and getting out of the house.

Waiting for the parade. Yes, Ethan is in the stroller and Luke is not.

And then Ethan decided to sit on Luke's lap. Oh those boys.

A decorated snow plow. This is the caliber of the entries in the parade.

SANTA!!

Luke Telling Santa what he wanted- Blaze and the Moster Machines (Monster Truck)
Luke's reaction to Ethan telling santa he wanted Math Games. Direct Luke quote, "Huh, thoooose are presents!" Santa and his elves along with mom and dad had a chuckle of that one! He says the funniest things.

A somewhat decent one

Proof he can smile normal. Oh Santa, what are you going to do with that kid's list?!?!!
Each kid recieved a free book from Santa and the book worm that Ethan is, he decided to sit down and wait for the parade and read his new Amelia Bedelia book and I guess the newspaper captured the moment without us noticing. He asked us for our names but I guess he missed how to spell Ethan. Oh well, Ethan was excited to see it in the paper and on-line!
Then there is more Luke stories.....Pizza making, this kid LOVES to cook!
We have a Advent Calendar that has something for us to do as a family each day and one night it was make a pizza together. It ended up being a Luke and Mom event as dad and Ethan were watching football.
I left him with the bag of cheese and told him to finish putting on the canadian bacon and I went to plug those Christmas Tree lights in (the ugly thing looks a bit better with lights) and I hear this from the kitchen "Mom, I like LOTS of cheese on my pizza!" I came around the corner to this.....4 lbs of cheese dumped on top. Not just the normal size bag, but the SAM's club giant size.
