Big month for the 5 year old!

Starting K, showing pigs, going to ISU football games were just a few of the things Ethan did in September. Add in a few big ones...

1. He learned how to ride his bike without training wheels!!! We worked all summer in this and was our summer goal. Better late than never. 

He has gotten so good we went out for a bike ride to get pizza and ice cream

2. Flag Football. What a fun experience. From the first practice learning how to block these boys thought they were so cool. Getting to do all the things their mothers tell them not to do in the house!

Played his last game agains some old preschool buddies.

Little brother Luke was a trooper through all the practices and games. 

Then you get a touchdown in a game and you feel like the best NFL player. He was sooo proud!!

3. First school fundraiser/fun run. 

He placed 3rd in the whole school for his fundraising efforts. He made a script and sent it to his grandparents and aunts and uncles. 

Then he had a blast at the Jefferson Jog. I would have done anything to be there but it was during the school day and I couldn't go. He had good fans with the Fitzloffs and Quints!

4. Reading like a champ already!
He is doing so well with his reading. He has 30 min. of reading practice assigned each night. He works hard and this is him reading his first book he checked out at the library at school. He was proud he picked one out that he could read.

What a BIG month for my BIG kid!! So proud of his efforts and attitude towards life!
