If you recall from last year my kids looked like homeless bums when we took our picture with the Easter bunny. This year it worked out that went to the mall one day after church and we are a bit more presentable. However, I still refuse to pay 25 bucks for one 4x6 with the Easter bunny, so we have a side shot zoomed in from behind the fence!
Dear Easter
Bunny,
You can find me
and Luke at
papa Webers.
Please come!
Love
Ethan
So we headed down to Papa Weber's on Friday night and make it for the great Dysart Egg hunt we have done in the past at the park on Saturday morning.
Another bunny shot, heck we could have skipped the whole mall excursion!Ethan found his 3 eggs almost faster than I could snatch a photo!
All done! They have some fun prizes for the kids, too!
I think Ethan's favorite part in the park. They have a really nice park at Dysart and dad got to catch up with some old high school buddies while grandma and mom watched the boys play. Win Win for all!
This is the slide I wanted to Luke to go down. Notice the wave- he was saying "bye mom" because he had his 'I laugh in the face of danger' game face one and headed straight for the giant one that big brother Ethan was doing.
All was good! SEVERAL rides down the same slide!
Later in the afternoon we had grandma and papa's hunt! They have 25 eggs a piece and grandma puts coins and candy in these ones! We were short on cousins this year, but they still had to do their annual smallest to biggest, on your mark, photo!
Luke had a blast!
They all scattered fast!
He was so excited when he realized that there was something inside each egg!
Ethan was proud he was the first one done finding all 25 of his!
"look papa, candy and money in them"
Luke took a mid-hunt break to eat the candy he found! Poor Lexi is still searching for one of her eggs because Aunt Wendy hid them too hard and has a horrible memory and we couldn't find her 25th egg. Grandma will find it mowing this summer somewhere random!
Trip to farm isn't complete without a Tractor Ride!
And a gator ride!
Saturday night grandma Weber made a yummy meal and great grandma Lillian joined us! Here is Luke playing cards with her, or trying to play cards with her!
Easter baskets!
Luke was horrible during Easter Mass. Just wanted to talk- REALLY loudly the whole time. No crying or screaming, but no whisper voice either. He and papa spend the service drawing some pictures in the side room!
Back to the farm...
Easter Sunday photos. This series of photos just cracks me up and makes my heart melt!

something silly and then...
BIG giggles!
Tried a new location, but this is as good as it got!
Oh well, sure did get some cute ones of just the two of them and that isn't always the case, so we are good.
Brotherly love- makes a mommy's heart melt!
The other Weber's joined us again for a Sunday brunch! Those girls are growing too fast and are just so sweet and beautiful! Proud to call them my nieces!
The boys will miss the girls. BIG hugs before we left!
This was Luke about 15 min. into the trip. Notice his hands, I removed the ipad when he fell asleep and his stayed that way for a really long time. It was cute.
GREAT time on the farm to celebrate that Christ has Risen! Thanks grandma and papa for having us down to celebrate Easter and making it so memorable for the boys!
