It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

But wait we have no snow! We had huge snow storms in November and here we are the week of Christmas with none? Crazy. Here are some of the traditions we continued or started this Christmas season...
We hit up our favorite tree lot and it was the coldest day we have had this winter. So cold that I could barely get out and help. So no cute kids running around helping pick out the tree. Brad got this beauty with us watching from the truck! Must say that frozen stiff tree turned out to be the best one we have ever gotten!!

Ethan doing the honors. Not very safe, but no one got hurt.

It's straight, soft, and every side is full!

A homemade countdown that Ethan was pumped about writing the number each day. That lasted for about 3 days and it turned into a mom task.
A trip to Santa at a holiday show. Luke did great. No tears.
Made some neighbor treats and delivered them. Again, and Advent activity that turned into a mom activity. However Ethan LOVED driving around delivering these. He may be a politician some day.

Loved attending Ethan's preschool concert. It was so cute and he did a great job!
I made the mistake of not trying on his sweater until the night before and realizing it was a bit big. Oh well I guess.

Singing away!
He looked so grown up!

Manakto started doing a light display in Sibley Park and it is just awesome! We walked through it one night and drove through it the next. Both kids loved it. Luke kept saying "light" "up high" "whoa"
It was a Beautiful night. Almost 40!
His eyes were wide open the whole time!
He found Elmo!
The tunnel was our favorite!

Brotherly love.
Of course Santa was a hit too!

I love this time of the year! So happy to have been able to see all of Brad's family last week and looking forward to seeing my side this week. Merry Christmas everyone!!

I love all these memories you're creating with your kiddos! I wish there had been some sort of light display when we were growing up! I would have LOVED it!
