Fair, farm, and family

Last weekend we did a mini Iowa tour of the family! We headed down to the Iowa State fair to meet up with Aunt Nina and Michael, who came for the weekend, The Dreilings, and Grandma Weber. Of course the first stop was the pigs, cattle, and a milk shake!

This is for grandpa Weber!

Ethan and Brad rode the sky ride!

Look who they spotted... Jenn, Brooklynn, and Aidan!

Luke checked out the elephants while waiting. I think he really thought they were real after seeing all the real animals.

There is Brad and Casey holding up a ladder for the flame throwers in a show we watched.
The butter display!

Aidan and Ethan driving a semi!

I have been to the fair many times but never have had the fried sweets. Michael's curiosity lead to my first taste of a fried Oreo, Twinkie, and Snickers! Oreo was the winner!
Michael then spoiled the kids at the midway! First we were unsure if Ethan was big enough for this then all the sudden we had Jacob on and then Luke!!!

Followed by some minions!
It was a great night at the fair! We stayed night in Des Moines, went swimming in the morning, and then ate lunch at Spaghetti Factory.
Luke loved it, who is surprised?
Papa Weber was there, too. The kids were not cooperative for a group shot, here's what I got...

Then we headed back on the Iowa Tour to Holstein so mom and dad could go to Creekfest and watch Florida Georgia Line!
Grandma Lori and Frank, Andrew and Melissa, and Ben and Bri went too! Mom and I bringing out our country.

Just a few 12,000 people!
Mom, Brad and I
Brad and I.... Oops maybe too dark for selfies!

The next day we went out to the farm to check on Ethan's pig, Olaf.
Walking Olaf in the grass.
Grandpa sat down so Luke had to do the same.
Then the 3 farmers took a break.
Checking the beans.
Fun weekend at the fair and farm spending time with family!
