Brad and I got away for a quick vacation to Cancun over my spring break. Besides Pioneer work trips, it's our first vacation without plans since our honeymoon! We did go with another couple, Staci and Jaimie. I work with Staci and have been great friends since I started in Mankato. We had a fantastic time! We choose Cancun for the quick nonstop flight and hotels close to the airport to maximize our time away. I was a bit leary of it compared to our Carribean vacas, but the beach truly surprised me!!
Our resort was a smaller one, but we enjoy the small scale feel. Our room was amazing with full on beach views!
We spent all day everyday at the beach. We had amazing weather!

Except for the fact we of course had to find the ISU North Carolina game at a bar. It was super fun watching and were about 14 ISU fans there, too!!! It was an awesome win!
It was a very relaxing 5 days! Or course we really missed the boys by the end! They were in great hands back in Holstein though! They spent time at grandma Lori and Frank's, and grandpa Butcher and Connie's.

Sooo thankful for amazing family to watch the kids so we could truly relax knowing they were having fun with everyone and in great hands the time!!
Ahhh, back to reality of work tomorrow! Bummer!!
