9 Months

This month this kid went from being a bit on the lazy side to a crazy, non-stop, bulldozer! Ethan has named him Luke-dozer! He plows his way through wherever he wants to go. His is showing his strength and willpower this month! He has started pulling himself up the last couple of days as well.
I thought this was "leveling off" staying in the 24 pound range, well it's still the 99th percentile! Height is the 68th percentile.

He puts EVERYTHING he finds on the floor in his mouth. We have swiped his mouth more times this month than we ever did with Ethan. This kid loves paper, paper towels, toilet paper, and wrapping paper!
He is back to sleeping much better. I decided to give him a formula bottle at night and this seems to help him get back to his 9-10 hr nights. He does occasionally wake up on his back and we go in and roll him over to his tummy, put his butt, and shhh him back to sleep. But much better than last month!
He isn't into wanting much table food yet. Does the Cheerios and puff gig, but doesn't seem to like the texture of the other food on his fingers. He invented his own signing for "more" or more like "bring it on".
Mom did a lot of shopping this month and Luke hung with dad lots!
We did do a couple of whole family shopping events. He LOVED the carts at Lowes!
Ethan said "come on Luke we gotta win the race!"
"Your crazy, I'll just out for my first cruise"

He got his 2nd haircut this month too! He did great, but I was sad. He looks so much more like a big boy now!
The big boy haircut! In a box to try to slow him down while I wrapped gifts.

Luke also got to go to his first Iowa/ Iowa State basketball game. He attended the rival football game, couldn't leave him behind for basketball. Yep, it was an 8:45 start time and we still took him!
Let's go State!
Luke was obsessed with grandma Lori's cyclone earrings!
He did great the whole game! Just when ISU got it tied up, the last 5 min, he was OUT!
Yes, everyone was standing to cheer the last 5 min and I had a child sleeping through what they are calling one of the loudest moments at Hilton!! Crazy kid!
He was out!!
A sweet victory on the Luke's 9 month day!

This month Luke experienced lots of big events, surgery, first Thanksgiving, first BIG basketball game!

Enjoyed this last month watching this lazy kid turn into a moving dozer!  Feeling completely blessed each day, love this kid and everything about him!!
