Ethan has sure put on the miles in his gator! It's the first thing he wants to do when we pull into the garage each day after school. He does lap after lap and now pretends he is doing stuff and says "mom, I have work to do" or "I have to check on the Pioneer corn". He pretends his pigs are in the garage and opens the door to let them out. It's fun to just sit back and watch what he comes up with next.
Watching football from home...
Iowa State has had a strange football schedule this fall with bye weeks, away games, and then the Thursday night Texas game that mom and Ethan didn't make the trip down too. This was only Ethan's 2nd game he missed since his birth!! Don't worry he did the play by play in the living room in full uniform. Even took off his helmet and wiped his sweat just like the players do.
Set- HUT
You can't tell from this photo, but he can run a pretty good route starting from this wall all the way to our entry way and believe me, he goes FULL speed! A good thing he does wear the helmet as the carpet turns into tile.

Cute linebacker! The helmet is not a bad idea, maybe we will put it on daily to protect him from his big brother's crazy football play reenactments!
We had many trips to the park as well. Now that Luke is 6 months he can ride in the bob without having to be in his car seat. Ethan keeps him entertained.
Stroller buddies
Daddy time
Had to zoom in on this cuteness!
"Wonder when I can play on this stuff"
We had Open House for Ethan's preschool.
Horrible pic of me, but a nice view of his classroom with him leading us around.
Playing some games
His first real school booklet project- he even called it a project.
He is loving preschool! It has been strange because our daycare lady's husband takes him and drops him off as we don't get to talk daily to the teacher like we do at daycare. I got this email the other day that made me smile!
Wendy ,
I just wanted to share with you that I love Ethan's smile...he always seems so happy...he's a delight to have in the Pink Class! Have a great weekend.

These are proud momemts!!
More Cyclone cheering...
A happy Cyclone fan, even when they lose.
Ethan was not happy mom made him stop and take a picture- it is not what the players were doing!
I told you we had the case of the lazies!
Why do the dads always get the naps? I do have to admit, I have gotten some nice naps with Ethan, too:)
