Welcome to the 30's

Well, I have survived a week as a 30 year old and it isn't so bad.  I have to say that my wonderful friends and family made the entrance into my 30's a blast, hopefully it is a sign that all 10 years in this milestone will be a blast as well!
It started off with a HUGE surprise and the surprises just kept on coming! Katie made me this AMAZING birthday video with video messages from my friends and family, so much fun to watch and laugh and even cry sometimes because I start thinking about how many special people I do have in my life!
Katie was on the surprise kick and flew to Minneapolis and surprised me there too! Mom and Melissa had planned on taking me out and when we got to the restaurant the waitress handed me the 30th birthday glass that Katie had in my video, thought it was strange, but didn't think too much of it, and then there she was at the table that Melissa had picked out for us! Sooo much fun!

On Saturday, after shopping, I get home and am surprised by Dad, Connie, John, and Kathy! Had NO clue that was coming! The surprises just kept on going when some teacher friends showed up later that evening to hang out!

They even surprised me with an extra large Ice Cream Cake!
